Ukraine President signed the new law on EURO 2012

Victor Yanukovych, President of Ukraine, signed the Law of Ukraine “on amendment into Law of Ukraine “on state purchase” and “on organization and holding of the Final Part of the 2012 European Football Championship in Ukraine”.

The new legal act simplifies purchasing procedure needed for preparation to EURO 2012. Besides, the law regulates construction works for European Championship, provides intellectual property of UEFA and guaranties visas to all international employees.

Also this act is giving particular preferences to companies appointed by UEFA to prepare to EURO 2012. “As to currency operations undertaken the appointed officials while importing or exporting of funds are not charged any fees”, the law says.

The legal act also clarifies the ticket turnover at European Championship matches: “The ticket will be available only to individuals with ID which will be reflected in ticket. The right of reselling or using the tickets in other ways is given to particular person appointed by UEFA representative.
