Dynamo make move for young keeper![]() Mon Jul 26
FC Dynamo Kyiv have strengthened ahead of Tuesday's UEFA Champions League third qualifying round first leg against KAA Gent with the signing of 17-year-old goalkeeper Maxym Koval subject to a medical. Dynamo coach Valeri Gazzaev announced Koval's move from FC Metalurh Zaporizhya in Monday's pre-match press conference, although he did not reveal any further details of the transfer. Koval played 19 times in last season's Ukrainian Premier League and has featured in Metalurh's first three games of the new campaign. He will be vying for the No1 spot at his new club with last term's regular Olexander Shovkovsky, 35, who is currently injured. |
